FORMAT MATTERS.
Different dosage forms enter digestion differently.
CODE LAB™

TABLET? CAPSULE? POWDER? LIQUID? GUMMY? JELLY?
Pick your winner.
There is no single supplement format that is always best for absorption.
Tablets, capsules, powders, liquids, gummies and jellies have different physical characteristics, but absorption and bioavailability also depend on the ingredient, chemical form, dose, formulation, solubility, digestive conditions, food intake and individual physiology.
The best delivery system depends on what you're trying to deliver.

Different dosage forms enter digestion differently.
Different compounds have very different absorption characteristics.
Being liquid does not by itself prove superior bioavailability.
Ask: “What's the best formulation for this ingredient?”

Different delivery formats enter this journey at different physical starting points. That is where they begin to differ—not where the scientific comparison ends.
Supplement format showdown
Round 1
What is it?
A compressed solid dosage form.
What happens?
A conventional tablet generally needs to disintegrate after ingestion before its ingredients can undergo further dissolution or dispersion.
Advantages
Considerations
Some people dislike swallowing tablets. Large doses can require larger tablets or multiple tablets. Physical disintegration is one step before ingredients become available for absorption.
CODE Lab verdict
A proven and useful delivery format—not automatically better or worse than other formats.

Why does solubility matter?
Some compounds are fat-soluble or require particular formulation strategies. These categories help explain behavior, but compounds within each category are not identical.
Does taking supplements with food matter?
Meal conditions influence certain nutrients. Dietary fat can assist absorption of fat-soluble vitamins, while other ingredients have different directions based on tolerability, interactions or formulation.

The CODE connection
CODE Nutraceuticals™ was not created because pills suddenly stopped working. They did not. Capsules, tablets, powders and liquids can all be appropriate delivery systems.
WE ASKED: CAN THE SUPPLEMENT EXPERIENCE BE BETTER?
Could sophisticated formulations be portable, pre-portioned, flavor-forward and easy to take—with no water, mixing or handful of pills?
Our hydrated semi-solid format gives us a different formulation platform and consumer experience.
We are not going to tell you jelly automatically absorbs better because we said so.
CODE Lab exists because consumers deserve a better explanation.

CODE philosophy
DON'T JUST ASK: WHAT'S IN IT?
ASK: HOW MUCH?
THEN: WHAT FORM?
THEN: HOW IS IT DELIVERED?
FINALLY: WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I TAKE IT?

Questions people ask
There is no universally best format. Absorption depends on the ingredient, chemical form, dose, formulation, solubility, digestive environment and individual physiology.
Not automatically. A liquid avoids tablet disintegration, but its ingredients may be dissolved, suspended or emulsified. Comparative claims require product-specific evidence.
Neither format is universally better. Gummies can be easier for some people to take, while capsules can suit other formulations and doses.
Powders can accommodate larger ingredient quantities, but mixing a powder with water does not guarantee complete dissolution or absorption.
Jelly starts as a hydrated semi-solid matrix. That is a physical distinction, not proof of superior bioavailability.
Sometimes. Meal conditions can influence certain nutrients, but the right direction depends on the specific product and ingredient.
